Business schools have long been important drivers of change by creating an environment where out-of-the-box thinking flourishes. In their approaches to research and learning, their engagements with stakeholders, and their oversight of institutional operations, business schools are redefining the way academic enterprises create, teach, connect, and lead.

To recognize institutions that stand out as champions of change in the business education landscape, AACSB has developed the Innovations That Inspire challenge to shine a spotlight on a variety of ways that business schools are changing the face of business education.

AACSB invites all member business schools to share ways in which they have inspired new approaches to thinking. This year, the 2017 Innovations That Inspire challenge will focus on engagement across three distinct areas:

a) Engaging a Diverse Community—Demonstrate how your institution engages groups representing diverse communities along a number of dimensions, including race, ethnicity, gender, religion, or socioeconomic background, to name a few.

b) Engagement Across Disciplines—Share ways that your business school engages and connects with other disciplines. This may include innovations that reinforce complementarities between business education and other fields, including science, engineering, healthcare, and more.

c) Engagement With Business—Explore how your business schools engages with the business community or business practice.

Generally, this individual will be found in your business school leadership office.
