CLADEA's President participate as speaker at SDG Business Forum 2018

Tuesday, July 17th. Dr. Octavio Ibarra, CLADEA President and Dean of the School of Business, was invited by The United Nations as a speaker at the event of SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) Business Forum held in New York. 

Dr Ibarra was participating as a panellist in the session "Making SDG's everyone's business", where he shared and unveiled initiatives that are developed in business schools from Latin America and specifically results in the Business School of "Universidad del Norte", in relation to the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals.

During the panel discussion, Dr. Ibarra will speak about the projects that the School has carried out in Colombia and is currently developing in Costa Rica and Panama, where it is expected to benefit more than 20,000 people in the next two years. Likewise, he will share with attendees the lessons learned in each of the communities and the importance of Business Schools in the transformation of society.

The event featured prominent leaders at an international level. "It is an opportunity to make alliances and be able to take these initiatives around the world to achieve a positive impact on society and contribute to the challenges of humanity. It is important to mention that we are the first and only Business School in Colombia and Latin America that has been invited to this important event, "assured Dr. Ibarra.
