CLADEA Global Forum: An academic and disruptive event that transcends the classroom

In order to help strengthen business education with a global perspective. The Latin American Council of Management Schools - CLADEA together with Montpellier Business School (France) have organized a cycle of international forums that benefit the International Academic Community.

The "I CLADEA Global Forum", called: "Challenges of Business Schools in Times of Crisis. Perspectives of North America, Europe and Latin America ”, was held on April 21, 2020. It had as Speakers: Denis Lescop, Director of Programs - Montpellier Business School (France); Jorge Talavera, Rector - ESAN University (Peru) and Tom Robinson Past CEO - AACSB International (USA).


Our “II CLADEA Global Forum”: “What will the Business School of the Future be? 2020 and ahead ?: Disruption, innovation and business results ”, 
organized on July 2, 2020, featured the participation of: Joanne Li, Dean Ryder Eminent Scholar Chair in Business - Florida International University College of Business (USA); Eduardo Gómez Martín, Director General - ESIC Business & amp; Marketing School (Spain) and Danica Purg, President of Ceeman the International Association for Management Development in Dynamic Societies (Slovenia) as Speakers .


Likewise, the “III CLADEA Global Forum”: “Changes in the academic offer: What profile of graduates do  global companies need? ”, held on October 23, 2020 within the framework of the International Congress # CLADEA2020 achieved a massive participation thanks to the presence speakers such as: Josep Franch, Dean of Esade Business School (Spain); Cristina Ramirez, LATAM Talent & Development Director, Coca Cola-Company and Alejandro Almazan Zimerman, Head of Google for Education (Latam).


The "IV CLADEA Global Forum", entitled "Management Between Universality and DiversityThe Responses of Business Schools to the challenges of Universality and Diversity in Management”, scheduled for December 3, being the last academic activity carried out in 2020, 
allowed us to contact academics from other regions of the world. We thank the exhibitors: Magalie Marais, Professor: CSR, Sustainable Development, Strategic and Public Management, Innovation - Montpellier business School (France); Jose Alberto Martinez Villavicencio, Director Center for Research in Administration, Economics and Management Tecnológica - Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica (Costa Rica) and Henry Yatich, Dean of the School of Economics and Business - Mount Kenya University (South Africa).


2021, a year of great challenges, allowed us to consolidate the massive participation in this activity, therefore the “V CLADEA Global Forum”: "Training in Sustainability and Social Responsibility: Solutions Between Universality and Diversity", held on January 21 with the support of the speakers: Ágnes Zsóka, Professor - Institute of marketing at Corvinus University of Budapest (Hungary); Julianna Paola Ramírez Lozano, Head of Sustainability - Centrum PUCP (Peru); Majid Kaissar Ghaib, Head of the “Social innovation and sustainability institute ”- ESCADE Ecole de Management (Africa) and Srinivasan Vasanthi, Professor - Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (India) exceeded the expected number of participants. A big success.


We are just a few days away from holding our “VI CLADEA Global Forum”, which will address a current issue “Training to Social Entrepreneurship: A universal need? Universal Solutions?”. It will be an online event organized on March 18. 
We appreciate the participation of the speakers: Luis Antonio Paredes Izaguirre, Professor - IPADE Business School (Mexico); Lea Cassar, Professor - University of Regensburg (Germany); Chris Ogbechie, Dean - Lagos Business School (Nigeria) and Ji Hwan Lee, Director - KAIST Business School (South Korea).


CLADEA and Montpellier Business School will continue to develop a collaborative work to strengthen business education globally.
